Apr. 11th, 2010 11:36 pmSo, finally downloaded a trail version of the painting program Sai because I kept hearing good things about. Only had for an hour and I'm definitely considering it a keeper. It launches so quickly! The lines are so smooth!! Zoom in and out and stays almost as smooth ♥. Also loving the canvas acrylic brush, though I kind of wish they had a larger variety of brushes.
I guess I'll ask for it as my birthday present :).
Currently in my DS games, nearing the end for Avalon Code, and still quailing a bit for the grinding in Devil Survivor so I can chase down Naoya.
Avalon Code is a pretty fun, light game that is also an almost ridiculous amount of cute.

Star Wars: the Force Unleashed
Oct. 23rd, 2009 10:58 pmPlaying Darth Vader's Apprentice is actually pretty awesome. Lightning attacks are the best ever, I keep feeling like I'm abusing it but it's so amazing to watch. I love being able to switch my lightsaber colors too.
I wish it was easier to find the time to hurl the random objects though, every time I'm concentrating on an object I get shot and my concentration in the Force gets interrupted so the best I can do is pushing the objects instead of aiming and throwing.
The normal human faces in the cut scenes are rather creepy though. Everything remains still as a doll and only the mouth move which can be inadvertently hilarious when they're talking with anguish yet their faces look like they're asking for more tea.
Also, not enough 'kssh' in Darth Vader's speech.
Finally managed to beat the final boss in Daxter, only need to collect some stuff for 100% completion.
